The office is located at North Park University in the Brandel Library. We are in Library Rooms 216/217 on the second floor (next to the computer lab).
Finding a Writing Advisor
While the Writing Center hours vary slightly each semester, the center is open most evenings of the week. Those seeking help are always free to visit the office during our regularly scheduled drop-in hours listed above. There will be Writing Advisors available to work with you on any papers (except when the instructor specifies that you shouldn't get help in writing them), in any subject at any stage of your writing process. It is best to make an appointment a day or two in advance in order to ensure you'll be seen in a timely manner as dropping in does not guarantee you'll get help right away.
Making An Appointment:
1. A sign up sheet with appointment times is posted outside the library's Writing Center office. Drop by and sign your name in the empty space by your desired meeting time. Just look for our banner!
2. Ask your instructor, counselor or academic advisor to refer you to a writing advisor.
3. Call the Writing Center office or leave a voice message at (773)-244-4975
