Welcome!
You may already know some of us from Dialogue, but you may not know that, if you're a North Park undergrad, you can bring in writing projects from any class. Are you staring at a blank screen, unsure how to start? Do you have swarms of ideas which refuse to settle down? Is the dratted prompt confusing? Come talk with us about it! The Writing Center is fully staffed by undergraduate student Writing Advisors who have taken a training class to orient them to collaborative work skills; we presently have thirty-eight Writing Advisors. The Center runs under the guidance of a student Leadership Staff.

General Education Tool for Writing
This website offers several insights into the technical writing disciplines for free. Computer Science and Business writers may find many helpful resources here.

Writing To Learn
So what is this Dialogue class, and why doesn't North Park teach writing in the usual freshman composition class? North Park faculty think you stand the best chance of learning well from this model of instruction, and it helps if you understand the rationale of the program.
