Mission/Vision Statement
The North Park University Writing Center aims to work alongside North Park students and faculty to plant and cultivate a thriving writing culture among all members of the North Park community in a safe and respectful space, promoting especially healthy habits of coordinating learning and writing processes.
Our Services
We work alongside students through one-on-one conferencing on student work which respects the intellectual work and linguistic roots of all students. We also collaborate with the North Park Dialogue program and the Dialogue faculty. Our drop-in Writing Center and Partnership Programs are available to all North Park undergraduates. We aim to support and encourage the Pietism-influenced model of the North Park Dialogue program by practicing collaboration in investigative, integrated learning habits which promote cognitive, affective, and psychomotor development.
As strong believers in the benefits of collaborative learning, we invite you to explore all of the brand new resources that are now available specifically for your use. We want to serve you, but in order to do that; we need to hear from you! Is there something we could add to the website or newsletter to better serve you? Do you have published work? Would you like to see something in particular advertised, researched, or promoted? Let us know!
